Mitsui Bussan Aerospace Co., Ltd. and Spaceflight Inc. concluded an exclusive agency agreement

Tokyo- Mitsui Bussan Aerospace Co., Ltd. ("Mitsui Bussan Aerospace") and Spaceflight, Inc. ("Spaceflight") announced that they concluded an exclusive agency agreement on 3rd February 2021. Mitsui Bussan Aerospace the leading aerospace trading company in Japan that provides access to space using the International Space Station (ISS) Japanese Experiment Module "Kibo", and Spaceflight, the leading global launch services provider, offers the most diverse portfolio of launch options and comprehensive mission management services have teamed to expand their business footprint.

Mitsui Bussan Aerospace has reached out to the potential customers of more than 20 companies (more than 30 satellites) who selected satellite deployment from rockets but not from "Kibo" due to their technical requirements. In accordance with the customer's requirement, Mitsui Bussan Aerospace is pleased to now introduce Spaceflight's rideshare launch and integration services in collaboration with launch vehicle providers around the world. Mitsui Bussan Aerospace and Spaceflight have reached to conclude an exclusive agency contract in order to make sure each role in the sales activities in the global market and, in particular, focusing on sales promotion of Spaceflight's launch services for Japanese customers.

Through this business alliance, both companies are aiming to further expand its business by offering greater access to launch opportunities for customers considering utilizing services related to space.
